Hailing from Nashville, TN, Josh (nickname: Yosh - pronounced like Yoshi) graduated from Emory University in 2013 with a BA in Film Studies. While at his first video internship coming out of college, he began working on his own personal projects with a low-end camera. Soon after, some of Josh's earliest films went on to be featured at film festivals and popular websites such as Reddit and Cnet. It was then he decided to pursue more creative projects and make the move to LA in 2016. Through connections made from different projects, Josh began primarily directing, filming, and editing music videos for up and coming music artists in the SoCal area. Some of these artists included Grammy-nominated artists such as Stokley & Musiq Soulchild and well-known LA Asian-American artists such as Megan Lee & Annalé. When the Covid-19 pandemic struck, Josh was forced to suspend his music video productions and was hired as a producer & editor at the esteemed dance app company, Steezy, to film and edit their Youtube content as well as their dance classes. He has since shifted his career into sports content, working freelance projects throughout 2023 until he landed full time work as a producer & editor for the Arizona Coyotes NHL team in Phoenix, AZ. The Coyotes NHL team was sold and relocated to Utah shortly after and now Josh is a Senior Content Producer at the PGA TOUR working on professional golf’s biggest stories.
